Dr Michelle Ammerer is a graduate in medicine from The University of Western Australia and trained in cardiology at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and subsequently at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston.
In addition to all areas of adult cardiology, Dr Ammerer is an interventional cardiologist with skills in coronary angiography, angioplasty and stenting.
Dr Ammerer is a consulting Cardiologist at St John of God Subiaco Hospital.
Dr Ammerer is also a director on the board of the WA branch of the National Heart Foundation, and a Fellow of both the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand. She was the winner of the 2008 40 Under40 competition, recognising her considerable contribution to the field of cardiology and the community.
